We have the opportunity to make this reunion the best ever due to our ability to communicate amongst ourselves. In the past we maintained the basic formula for reunions. Last reunion there were 5 people who worked full time on the committee. And we were kept pretty busy. This reunion we're going to start working on an army.
From looking at everyone's profile when they first signed up on the web site, there are a lot of us in and around the area. From within these ranks I'm looking for some volunteers. We know some of our out of town classmates are spending more than just the weekend here, plus I know some of you locals plan on making the most of the weekend. Here's some things to throw at you. Saturday afternoon in the past was open for people to recover from Friday night and or prepare for Saturday night, or to go shopping or hang out at the pool. This year you have the opportunity to organize activities. This is where we need your ideas and local assistance. We've always allowed this time for us to start getting everything ready for the evenings activities. So this is time that you all can try to organize either some beachside activities or some individual ones. If you're local and have access to a Golf Club and would like to organize a foursome. If you have water toys you'd like to share,( kayaks, wave runners, etc.). That's what this forum site is for. 'What you would like and what you can offer'
Another thing to consider is Sunday afternoon. Football party! Where? Let's talk about it.
Finally, there are a lot of us local. We don't have to wait 5 years to have a reunion. I've run into some of you from time to time; First Friday, Mainsail Art, and other art shows, rib fest, blues fest, ball games, etc. We're hoping in the future to talk some of you in joining us and having some group activities like concerts, ball games stage performances and other gatherings. What say you
