Mauree Piehl (Kimball)

Mauree Piehl Kimball, 68, of St. Petersburg, found peace on June 20, 2015 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  We know she will watch over us and keep us together forever.  Born in Oak Park, IL in 1947, she moved with her family to Florida in 1958.  She co-owned and operated the successful Capri Auto Interiors for over 30 years.  After the sale of the business, she began a new career as an accountant at USF/Florida Institute of Oceanography and retired upon her illness.  Her favorite place to be was outdoors tending to her garden.  Survived by her husband of 50 years, Ronald Kimball; daughters Tina (Rob) Moorman and Julie (Jeff) Baker; grandchildren Mia Adams and Steven Baker; brother Jack (Nadina) Piehl; beloved dog Oakley.  Visitation, Fri., June 26 from 5-7 pm.  Chapel service, Sat.,10 am.  Memorial Park Funeral Home.

I remember Mauree starting at Lealman Jr. High School.   She was always a sweet and kind person.  My sympathy to her family

Well, phooey.....I remember her confiding her courtship with Ronnie as she walked to Lealman Jr. HIgh in front of his shop, Capri Auto Interiors.....a very handsome, accomplished hot rodder.  I was so looking forward to hanging with her.   Again, phooey.
