I will treasure all the wonderful memories I have of our friendship over the past 50 years.  I wish there were many more.  You left us too soon and we will miss you terribly.

What a shock!  I knew Sherre from Elementary school.  My prayers are with her kids.  I feel such sadness over this news.

Sweet Sherre:

We just had dinner with you two weeks ago.  You and I shared a couple stories  about our grandkids and then we made a date to sit on your front porch as soon as the weather turned cooler.  I will now sit on my front porch when the weather turns cooler and save a seat for you...in my heart & soul.  Bless you Sherre.

Twelve evenings ago on July 6th five of us had dinner with Sherre at Harveys and I felt confident that she'd beat her cancer. What a shock - God always has need for such wonderful loving angels but we sure will miss her. I'm glad I got to talk to her and see her - What a kind heart and thoughtful soul.

I am the daughter of Rose Marie Allen.  I'm not sure if she knew Sherre or not, but to her family, I wish to send my condolences. My mother passed away on May 6th of this year and I know the terrible loss you are feeling. Please know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

God bless, Lisa Dougherty

My sincere condolences to Sherre's family.  I know she will be missed.  I recently lost my own mother who lived at Carrington Place for the last few years.  Her husband Dorman still lives in their home on 17th Lane in Meadowlawn, the house where I lived during junior high, high school, and college, before I got married and moved to Kodiak, Alaska.    Nancy Allen Diemer

This is sad, sad news indeed. Sherre was one of my first friends upon moving to Florida. She was also the first girl I ever asked on a date (and I was the first boy to ask her out) when we were in the fifth grade. Her dad didn't think that was such a good idea! She was always a wonderful lady and I am truly saddened by her passing. God bless her.

I was at that reunion committee meeting on Tues. night at Harvey's on 4th st.  Sherre looked

really good!  I talked to Marcia on the phone 2 days later and I said how she still had the

chubby little chipmunk cheeks and still looked the same.  Tawnya and I were sad and totally

shocked the next weekend when we got the call and the e-mail.  Now she can enjoy the

reunion from higher place - resting in peace.    Don Burge

I will always remember "Sherre" from band. She played a mean saxophone. We weren't really friends outside of band, but I always thought of her as a nice person.
