In Memory

Kathy Zelt (Eshleman)

Kathy Zelt (Eshleman)

Kathy passed away on February 17, 2019.  She is survived by her husband Paul Eshelman, son Jonathan Eshelman, daughter Jennifer Eshelman Huff and 5 grandchildren.

It is with sincere and deep regret that I post this obituary to our class page.  Most of you would remember Kathy and I as being inseparable.  We met during lunch in our 10th grade year at Northeast.  We have been lifelong friends ever since.  We even went to college together.  We double dated Williamson and John Klein while we were at Northeast.  Kathy's memorial service will be in Orlando on March 8th.  I'm going.  If you haven't seen my post on my Facebook page it's under Kaye Jones Otto.  If you can come, please do.  I'd love to see some of you, especially if you knew Kathy too.  FYI, I started using my middle name in college because of a boy I was dating and later married, so you'll find me under Kaye versus Lorra.

Lorra Kaye Jones-Otto

I have many fond memories of Kathy from school and from church.  My sisters, Susie, Lynda, and I, were so sad to hear of her passing. She always had such a great sense of humor and outlook on life. I knew she would fulfill her life serving God. Please give her family my condolences. She will surely be missed.

I am so sorry to hear about Kathy. I'll always remember her as a happy smiling girl. We sat across from each other in a class in 8th grade. I remember one day she came to school with a new pair of burgandy patent leather shoes. I commented on how good looking those shoes were every time she wore them. She loved the compliment and always flashed that cute smile. Her family is in my thoughts and prayers.
