This is a shocker. We were in the same homeroom forever. It was great to see Bob at the reunions. It will be hard to be there without him. My condolences to the family!
In 1959 I met Bobby while attending 6th grade at North Ward elementary. He went on to Meadowlawn and I was at Mirror Lake. In 1963 we were sophomores at Northeast, passing in the halls with a nod or Hi, but I wasn't in his circles. At our 10th reunion there was no recognition and I was accually snubbed when I tired to introduce my husband. Ok I can handle that. Something changed in him, because at our 50th Bobby approached me knowing full well who I was, he apologized, not for anything in particular just if he'd offended me and wished me well. He seemed sincere. We never had an other conversation.
