Alan and I spent the summer together in the Washington DC area in 1967. We had a lot of good times. we visited his Dad's grave in Arlington National Cemetary. Alan had the best sense of humor and would keep me laughing. I miss him every day
I've thought many times of the members of the class who went through every grade together. Alan, my brother John and I attended every day of class from kindegarten to NEHI. In fact my first memory of another student in kindergarten is of Alan. He was smart, athletic, witty, attractive and a great friend. I wish I could have been a better friend and known he was so unhappy. We lost one our best.

What I remember most about Alan was his dry sense of humor...Oh! And also he was a hell of a poker player. Taken much too soon.
