Benny I am sorry that no one has posted any past memories about you. This is Bill Rodriguez and yes we had some good and wild times together. I remember when we were shooting pool at the pool room on 34th street and you had just purchased your new Green Dodge Chalenger 6 pack and wanted to race me in my Shelby Mustang.
Bob Simmons one of my best friends and neighbor was with me that night and we raced down 38th ave neck and neck until we went airborn crossing the R/R tracks and there were 2 police cars sitting in the parking lot watching us. The chase was on and they caught you a few minutes later but Bob and I got away due to my driving skills and with the help of some alley ways. They did not give you a ticket, because they did not catch me and thought it would be unfair to ticket you only.
Then there was the time you drove down one side and me the other on the side walk of Central ave around midnight to see who could get away with traveling the most blocks with out getting caught. Sorry Benny, but I went 5 blocks while you only were able to complete 3. Yes my friend we did have some wild times together and thank God no one got hurt doing some of those crazy stunts we pulled.
